Identify the component, not just its dimensions
INA is a Schaeffler product brand with a range that includes needle roller bearings. For product-specific construction, limits and mounting requirements, use Schaeffler’s official product information. Similar dimensions do not guarantee interchangeability.
- Needle roller bearings: provide the complete reference and say whether an inner ring is present. Photograph any separate rings or cages as well as the outer component.
- Cam followers and track rollers: include all markings and a photograph showing how the component mounts. Note whether it has a stud or is fitted on a separate shaft.
- Linear guide or carriage enquiries: send both rail and carriage references where available, with photographs of the complete arrangement. Avoid selecting a replacement solely from its overall size.
Support for machine maintenance enquiries
When a roller, bearing or guide component needs replacement in packaging equipment, an automated assembly or another machine, the surrounding arrangement helps identify what is required. Include the machine maker and model, any drawing or parts-list reference, and whether you are replacing one item or an assembly.
If the marking is incomplete, tell us which details are certain and which are estimated. We can use that information to investigate the enquiry; suitability must still be confirmed against the equipment specification before installation.
Prepare your INA enquiry
- Photograph all markings and the component in its mounting position where safely accessible.
- Record dimensions and any separate ring, rail or carriage references. Do not dismantle equipment simply to obtain a photograph.
- State the quantity, required date and any specified clearance, sealing, accuracy or lubrication requirements.
