Identify the unit and its options
SMC’s range includes pneumatic actuators, valves and air-preparation equipment. Use SMC’s official product information to check the exact series and configuration.
- Filters and regulators: photograph the complete unit and label. Include the model code and any specified port, filtration or pressure-range information.
- Solenoid valves: record the complete valve code and coil label, including the stated voltage. For manifold-mounted valves, include the manifold reference.
- Actuators: provide the full cylinder code and separately identify switches or mounting accessories required.
Complete assembly or individual replacement?
For a modular air-preparation assembly, say whether the enquiry covers the whole assembly, one module or a specified service part. Include labels for the relevant sections and the machine documentation where available. Similar ports or external dimensions do not establish compatibility.
If a model is unreadable or no longer readily available, share the original machine reference and explain which details are confirmed. A proposed replacement must satisfy the operating and control requirements, not simply occupy the same space.
