Separate standard and precision requirements
NSK’s product range includes bearings and precision machinery products such as linear guides and ball screws. Consult the official NSK product range for current product information.
- Ball and roller bearings: include all prefixes and suffixes, dimensions and whether the existing bearing is open, shielded or sealed.
- Precision bearing arrangements: provide the full specification and any matched-set or packaging references. Do not reduce the enquiry to the basic bearing number.
- Linear guides and ball screws: include the rail, carriage or assembly reference and the machine drawing where available. A bearing dimension search will not identify every precision component.
Replacing a component in a machine tool?
If the request relates to a spindle or other precision assembly, tell us whether you are replacing an individual item or a specified set. Preserve the original reference information and state any required accuracy, arrangement or preload specification exactly as documented. Where details are unknown, flag them rather than guessing.
For general maintenance, machine details, photographs and an original parts list can also help distinguish variants that look alike. Suitability must be checked against the equipment requirements; matching dimensions is not enough.
